      Twin-Screw Calendering & Pelletizing Line is an integrated precision laboratory equipment developed by POTOP Co., Ltd., specially designed for polymer material R&D and small-batch trial production. It combines twin-screw extrusion and mixing, calendering, traction cutting, cooling and winding in one complete system.

Equipped with high-efficiency plasticization, uniform mixing, precision calendering and stable pelletizing technologies, the line is perfectly suitable for formula development, process verification and sample preparation of plastic modification, functional masterbatches, elastomers, composite materials and special polymers. It provides a one-stop solution from mixing to molding for material research, university teaching and enterprise R&D laboratories, featuring high experimental accuracy, easy operation and flexible process adaptability.

1. Modular Design For Versatile Processes

The line adopts a split barrel and modular screw elements, allowing flexible combination of conveying, shearing, mixing and venting sections. It supports compound modification, filling reinforcement, reactive extrusion, devolatilization and other complex processes, satisfying multi-material and multi-process R&D with one machine.

2. Precise Temperature Control And High Mixing Efficiency

Multi-stage independent precise temperature control (accuracy ±1℃), together with the strong shearing and high dispersion performance of co-rotating parallel twin screws, ensures uniform distribution of nano-fillers, glass fibers and additives, with no dead zones and stable material properties.

3. Integrated Calendering And Pelletizing With High Molding Precision

Equipped with a precision calendering unit (3-roll / 5-roll, with adjustable roll temperature and gap), it can simultaneously perform film calendering, sheet molding and pelletizing. The pellets are uniform, full, pore-free and dimensionally stable, suitable for subsequent injection molding, blow molding and extrusion.

4. Intelligent Control System For Stable And Easy Operation

Adopts Siemens PLC and industrial touch screen for full-parameter visualization, one-key operation and real-time data recording/export. Servo motor drive enables closed-loop control of screw speed, feeding, traction and pelletizing, ensuring stable running, low failure rate and easy maintenance.

5. Easy Cleaning And Fast Material Change

The quick-open split barrel design allows material change and cleaning without removing the screw, improving cleaning efficiency by 60%. The compact structure and easy movement make it ideal for laboratories with frequent formula changes and small-batch production.

 

6. High Safety, Durability And Customization
Full-protection design including overload protection, over-temperature alarm and emergency stop. Wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant key parts enable processing of PEEK, PEI, PVDF, biodegradable materials and other special polymers. Customization of specifications, configuration and functions (such as multi-layer co-extrusion, online monitoring, special pelletizing methods) is available.
