How to Use the torque rheometer?

1. Electricity and ventilation

1.1 Check whether the connection between the system refining component and the computer is reliable;

1.2 Check whether the temperature sensor and data line connection of the front, middle and rear plate of the dense mixing chamber are reliable;

1.3 Ensure that the mixing chamber is clean;

1.4 Before the test, the mixing chamber must be heated to the molding temperature required by the material test;

1.5 Do not start the heating controller before the thermocouple is installed in the corresponding position.

2. Turn off the safety switch, start the computer host, open the measurement and control software, and set the parameters.

Suggestion: Before the start of the test, it is recommended to run the test at low speed without load, and carefully observe the changing trend of torque and temperature. Preliminary experiments were conducted to determine good experimental parameters, such as sample weight, chamber temperature, rotation speed, torque measurement range. Select a large torque range and low speed, such as 20-30 RPM, during the initial test; According to the raw material characteristics to determine the test material: type, density, softening, melting point, etc.

3. Fill the material to the dense mixing chamber (it is recommended to use the pressure hammer to fill the material to the dense mixing chamber, it is best to fill the experimental raw materials to the dense mixing chamber within 5 to 20 seconds), test, through the computer software processing, obtained the torque with time rheological map.

4. Test completed: after the completion of the experiment or the experimental torque curve has reached the large value of the material and stable, please stop the driving device to avoid unnecessary wear, and then clean the mixing chamber.

5. Formed the torque rheometer test report and analyzed it.
