Product Introduction

This instrument is mainly used to test the dispersion performance of polymer masterbatches. The polymer-based mixture containing a certain concentration of pigment is sheared and heated by the screw and barrel. The polymer flows through the melt pump and the filter supported by the porous plate in a molten state. During this process, the starting pressure of the base material and the maximum pressure before the filter can be measured to calculate the filtration pressure value. This value is used to characterize the masterbatch dispersion effect. The smaller the FPV value, the better the dispersion.

The biggest advantage of this instrument is that the melt temperature, melt pressure, screw speed, motor current and other parameters during the test process will be displayed in real time in the form of curves or numbers for user reference.
