Product description

The capillary rheometer is a device used to measure the shear stress rate under high stress. It can measure the fluidity and solidification speed of thermosetting materials, draw the stress-strain curve and plasticization curve of thermoplastic materials, and measure the temperature of softening point, melting point and flow point. Measure the viscosity and viscous flow activation of polymer melts, and also study the process conditions of melt spinning.

It is used to measure the relationship between the shear stress and shear rate of polymer melt in the capillary tube, directly observe the appearance of the extrudate, study the elasticity and instability of the melt by changing the aspect ratio, and determine the polymer State changes, etc. The research on the rheological properties of polymers can not only provide the best process conditions for processing, provide data for the design parameters of plastic machinery, but also obtain useful data on the structure and molecular parameters in terms of material selection and raw material modification.
