Rotational rheometers have several principles such as oscillating droplets and oscillating shearing. It is the most difficult field to accurately implement in rheological testing. There is no particularly good and universal method.
Typical interface rheometers mainly include cone-plate type, parallel plate type, coaxial cylinder type and capillary type.
(1) The cone-plate type is a precision rheometer, which can measure a variety of material functions, and is suitable for higher viscosity polymer solutions and melts.
(2) The parallel plate type is a cone-plate type accessory, which is suitable for relatively viscous polymer solution melts and multi-phase systems as a supplement.
(3) The coaxial cylinder type is a convenient viscometer, suitable for low-viscosity and low-elasticity fluids.
