HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) is a widely used general-purpose polymer material in packaging, daily chemical, geotechnical and food industries. It features high density, excellent rigidity, superior tensile resistance, good low-temperature tolerance, outstanding chemical stability, non-toxicity and environmental friendliness.

Compared with conventional PE materials, HDPE has a higher crystallinity and greater melt strength, with a narrow processing temperature range. During film blowing, it is prone to uneven plasticization, unstable bubble, large thickness deviation and abundant surface crystal spots, which set higher requirements for the extrusion accuracy, temperature control stability and mixing performance of production equipment.

 

Traditional large-scale film blowing production lines are only suitable for mass production and fail to meet the demands of small-batch and frequent formula debugging for HDPE. They suffer from high material consumption, long lead time, high energy consumption and high debugging risks. In addition, ordinary small film blowers are not optimized for the high crystallinity of HDPE, often resulting in poor plasticization, film bubble fluctuation and numerous film defects, with low reference value of experimental data.

 

POTOP film blower for HDPE Formulas (POTOP) is specially adapted for various HDPE systems, including neat HDPE, filled modified HDPE, toughened modified HDPE and HDPE blended with color masterbatches. It requires only a small amount of raw materials for rapid sample preparation, effectively cutting R&D trial-and-error costs and enabling precise optimization of processing parameters.
