Torque rheometer is an experimental instrument to explore the characteristics of the process of a rotor. By recording the reverse torque of the rotor over time, it can study the dispersion performance, flow behavior and structure changes (crosslinking, thermal stability, etc.), and also provide experimental guidance for production quality control. Due to the small amount of materials used to test the torque rheometer
characteristics and can simulate the mixing process in the laboratory, it is particularly suitable for the research and development of production formulation, adjustment of mixing process and identification of the microstructure of polymer materials.
Guangzhou POTOP torque rheometer is mainly composed of transmission box assembly, operating box assembly, compact refining assembly, power assembly, operating console assembly, rack assembly and software operating assembly. All parameter settings, system control, data records, etc. are operated / displayed on a computer equipped with measurement & control software.

Working principle of torque rheometer:
When the measured material is added to the mixing room, the material is subject to the different rotational speed and the force applied by the opposite two rotors. The torque module measures the reaction force through the torque sensor and obtains the torque flow map through the computer software. The equipment can simultaneously measure the torque (temperature-time curve during the material compaction process, and explore the differences and characteristics of the material microstructure, macro form and processing performance through subtle changes in the curve.
